Membership and expenses related to networking are fully paid by the Company. In addition we offer an incentive plan to encourage staffers to attract new clients.

The Company insists that all our staffers actively participate in a professional development program. Each staff member designs his or her program. Professional development encompasses reading books, taking online and regular courses/workshops, attending conferences, attending networking and other industry meetings, professional courses and other strategies.

To advance the staff’s general knowledge we have a monthly Lunch ‘n Learn program where staff are treated to lunch and a presentation from industry insiders, clients and external experts. We constantly aim to expand our staff’s knowledge and strengthen our expertise.

Maintaining a Positive Work Life Balance

It is important that staffers stay fresh and maintain a positive sense of who they are. All staffers work a minimum of 7.5 hours a day and are in the office ready to work during our core hours of 9 am and 4 pm.

Having Fun and Building an Effective Team

The MB team works hard, but we have time to play, too! In the past, staffers have enjoyed dinners at Milestones, suite nights at Senators' games, evenings at the theatre and ballet, "Beer 'n' Bowling" events, and afternoons at the spa! We try to have a fun and interesting team function at least three times each year, and staffers are asked to help plan these events.
